Somato (Body) Respiratory (Breathing) Integration™ (SRI) is designed to offer you new options in your experience of your body and your personal healing. It educates you to your body’s rhythms and inner wisdom through focused attention, gentle breath, movement and touch. SRI provides you with a means of placing your attention on your body, the vessel of human spirit, and provides a tool for focusing your attention in a way that works for your healing and empowerment.
Somato Respiratory Integration™ exercises (based on Donald Epstein’s book The 12 Stages of Healing) are designed to help the brain to reconnect with the body and its experience. The goal of Somato Respiratory Integration™ is to help an individual develop lifetime skills, safety, strength, wisdom and love in relationship to the experience of his/her body, its vibration, structure, and energy.
During the SRI Wellness Education process you will learn to recognize what different rhythms mean in your life experience, how to recognize when they are present, and how to connect with them and gain the wisdom from the experience/circumstance.
You will learn to use the S.R.I. exercises at any time, to access your body's internal strategies for healing and wholeness.

...and tell you how grateful I am to be here offering you the
profound gifts that Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI)
offers in partnership with Network Care.
Let me give you some background about myself. Some 12
years ago, I attended the very first Somato Respiratory
Integration (SRI) training offered by Donald Epstein. I have
also had the great fortune of being in NSA care since the
early 1990’s. I fell in love with SRI and began practicing it
on myself and integrating it into the energetic sound
healing practice I had at the time. I was also fascinated by
the map of the 12 Stages of Healing, which underpins the
SRI exercises, and had a vision of creating a theatrical
piece exploring those 12 somatic rhythms expressed in all
our bodies and lives. I accomplished this vision in the
spring of 2004, ten years after first being introduced to the
work.
Donald Epstein developed SRI parallel to the continuous
development of Network Spinal Analysis (NSA), as a
practice to help midwife the strategies birthed by NSA.
Through daily practice of the SRI exercises, practice
members journey through NSA Care more efficiently, with
more somatic integrity and emotional integration. Through
breath, self-touch, focused awareness and energy, SRI
helps the higher centers of the brain to create a larger
context and perception around the changes in structure
and behavior that NSA initiates.
To give you a little more of my background as a healer, let
me share that I practiced as
an energetic sound healer (integrating Reiki and Polarity
Therapy) for a decade, then became a Voice Movement
Therapist/Trainer and have been practicing that modality
for another decade. Those modalities influence how I
approach and facilitate SRI. I facilitate SRI in several
practices in Boulder and have worked with Lawrence
Conlan for over five years.
I feel excited and honored to be given this opportunity to
help guide/coach the practice members of this office into
the truth of their Being anchored in their bodies, through
the holistic approach of SRI.
Warm Regards,
Christa Ray, MFA, Dip.VMT
